Hi there wonderful people!

Katy and her husband Wade are planting another chunk of their property out with native trees this planting season, a little over 2500 this time around, and to help them raise some of the funds for this fun project, they wanted to run another tattoo raffle fundraiser!

 

Raffle tickets are $15 each. 1 ticket = 1 entry. No limit to how many times you want to enter! 

 

The lucky winner of this competition will receive 1 full days worth of tattooing from Katy Hayward (worth $1500), first dibs on her available tattoo dates for 2026 and 2 of Katy's available cups or trinket dishes!

Katy's bookings are currently closed again and she is now booked out for 2025. The next round of bookings will be re-opening on September 28th, 2025.

🌳🌱A little information about the planting project:

 

Katy, Wade and their daughter Sophie are living in a beautiful part of Aotearoa / New Zealand, called Tutukaka (just east of Whangārei). 
They purchased their 10.5 acre property back in 2019 with plans to restore it all back to native bush (leaving a small space in there for their house), with the hopes of bringing in more bird life and helping a tiny portion of the planet.
So far they have had two bigger planting projects, planting over 6300 Aotearoa/ New Zealand native trees (a big thank you once again to everyone who has previously taken part in their tattoo raffle tree fundraisers, you are all amazing x). These trees have had an incredible success rate so far, with a few lost in 2020 during the crazy drought which have all been replaced.
This time around they are planting just over 2500 native trees, with 39 different native species! These are being supplied by one of the incredible local nurseries, Tawapou Coastal Natives. https://www.tawapou.co.nz

Terms and Conditions of the raffle:

1. Organizer

This raffle is organized by the team at Grey Warbler Studio Ltd, with the purpose of raising funds to support the planting of native trees on bare land.

2. Eligibility

  • Entrants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry.

  • This raffle is open to people worldwide, however the winner must organise their own travel and accomodation to the Grey Warbler Studio, based in Tutukaka, Aotearoa / New Zealand (if needed).

  • Direct relatives of the organizer are not eligible to win.

  • The entrant hopefully likes Katy Hayward's art / tattoo style enough to have it permanently etched into their skin!!

  • The entrant has read and accepted all the 'frequently asked questions' and 'the tattoo process' information found in the two header subjects on the Grey Warbler Studio website. 

3. Entry Details

  • Raffle tickets are available for a donation of $15 each.

  • Tickets can be purchased via PayPal or direct internet transfer through the Grey Warbler Studio website.

  • Ticket sales close on 24th May 2025.

  • Each ticket purchased equals one entry into the draw.

  • There is no limit to the number of tickets one person can buy.

  • All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

4. The Prize

The lucky winner will receive:

  • 🎨 One full day of tattooing with Katy Hayward (valued at $1,500)

  • 📅 First pick of Katy’s 2026 available tattoo dates

  • Two handmade cups or trinket dishes from Katy’s ceramic collection

5. Draw & Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random on 26th May 2025, by pulling a name out of a bag.

  • The winner will be contacted via the contact information provided during ticket purchase.

  • The winner's name will be announced on Katy Hayward's social media pages.

6. Prize Conditions

  • The tattoo prize is non-transferable and has no cash alternative.

  • The tattoo session must take place at Katy’s studio in Tutukaka, and must be booked within the 2026 calendar year.

  • The winner must comply with all studio policies, including consultation, deposit, design process, and health/safety requirements.
  • Large or complex designs may require more than one session; the prize covers one full day only.
  • The winner can choose to gift their tattoo day session with Katy Hayward to someone else as long as they are in agreeance with the Terms and Conditions of this raffle.

7. Legal

  • This competition is a game of chance. The winner will be chosen at random.

  • This raffle is being conducted in accordance with applicable Aotearoa / New Zealand fundraising and raffle laws.
